Loved the article! A couple things I want to mention:

Sign Rob Williams at all costs. This man could legit be Ben Wallace 2.0. His defense is other worldly, and although his offensive game lacks versatility, he’s incredibly efficient (career TS% of .719!). I get the cap thing, but move whatever you need to get this done.

I’d also involve Smart in the coach hiring process. His EQ is through the roof and is the heart and soul (I know I’m preaching to the choir here). All these successful teams either have LeBron or an incredible coaching philosophy- see Ubuntu Doc Celtics, Phil Jackson’s hippie tree hugging teams, Pops baller mentality, and Kerr’s player coach prowess relationships (of course with the talent to go with it...)

Kemba has been the most frustrating player to watch for me. It’s going to be a very hard contract to trade obviously, but he can definitely still play. I think Celtics should be open for trades, but go into season rolling dice on him being healthy. Tough with his history, but don’t see much of a choice here with this injury prone expensive and aging guard.

Lmk your thoughts!
